Alina began with the organization in 2004 as a crime prevention coordinator, working both the neighborhood watch program and the Youth Crime Watch program. She also served as Executive Secretary for the Southeast Florida Crime Prevention Association. Ms. Lopez is a 2002 graduate of the University of Miami, majoring in both communications and criminology. She also obtained multiple certifications such as Crime Prevention Practitioner, Florida Elder Crime Practitioner, and has training in CPTED, among other trainings and certifications. In 2016, she left the organization to pursue other professional interests, but has continued to maintain close ties with the organization and its staff. Crime Prevention has been and remains her passion.
